Getting to know Kölliken

Kölliken lies in the lower Uerkental (Uerke valley) between a wide plain and wooded hills. To the east stretches the Hard plain, over three kilometres wide and completely flat; to the west the wooded ridges of Köllikertann (511 m above sea level) and Pfaffentann (513 m) rise gently. To the south, the Ghürst, at 566 m the highest point in the municipality, separates the valleys of the Uerke and the Köllikerbach.

Two streams, one village
The Uerke runs along the eastern edge of the built-up area, the Köllikerbach right through the village centre.
