A family move means more than twice as many belongings
With children, it is not only the number of boxes that doubles, but also the appointments: school or nursery at the new location, hobbies, a change of doctor – and everyday life has to carry on at the same time. We take care of carrying, transporting and assembling, so that you can focus on your family.
A tried-and-tested approach is «load the children's rooms last, set them up first». That way the familiar room is ready on the first evening – the rest can wait.

Family apartments usually have 3.5 to 5.5 rooms. You can see the guide price for your apartment in 2 minutes in the calculator above – with a 20% new-customer discount. The price becomes binding after the free on-site survey.

All prices include insurance and exclude 8.1% VAT. Guide values are based on average effort; the exact amount is determined during the free on-site survey and invoiced according to actual working time, including travel to and from the site.

I was very satisfied with the moving services and the cleaning work. The furniture was properly packed and handled with care. Who packs for a family move when kids and work leave no time?
If you wish, our packing service takes care of it, either for the whole household or just for certain areas such as the kitchen, cellar and attic. During the free on-site survey we agree together on what you would rather pack yourself. That way you hand over exactly the part that would eat up the most time in family life, and everything is ready to be carried out on schedule.
How do movers protect cots, bunk beds and play furniture during a family move?
Our own carpenters dismantle cots, bunk beds and wardrobes professionally and reassemble them at the new home. For transport we wrap the parts in protective material, and inside the building we cover the stairwell, lift and floors. Play furniture with delicate surfaces is padded individually so that scratches never happen in the first place.
Where can a family store its furniture if the new house is not available yet?
In our furniture storage: the warehouse is dry, climate-controlled and alarm-protected. On moving-out day we load everything straight there, and as soon as the house is ready we deliver the furniture and set it up. For the interim period the family only takes what it really needs, such as clothes, school things and toys.
When is the old family flat considered properly handed over after end-of-tenancy cleaning?
As soon as the property management has accepted it. With our end-of-tenancy cleaning with handover guarantee, our team attends the handover appointment, and if the landlord still finds something, we touch it up immediately and free of charge. That means no second cleaning day with the children in tow, and you can focus entirely on settling in.
How much does it cost to move the children's piano during a family relocation?
We offer piano transport from CHF 250.–; the floors, carrying distance and access at both addresses determine the exact amount. The instrument is padded, firmly secured in the vehicle and carried to the spot you want in the new home. Mention it during the survey and it will already be included in the quote.
Why do movers bill a family move in 15-minute increments?
So that you only pay for the actual work: billing is in 15-minute increments with a minimum of 3 hours. Well-prepared boxes and emptied wardrobes noticeably shorten the time. If you prefer a fixed framework, after the survey you can get a cost ceiling or a flat rate for the entire move on request.
Which box should families take in their own car on moving day?
A box for the first evening: pyjamas, toothbrushes, medication, charging cables, the favourite cuddly toy and something to eat. Add ID documents, contracts and valuables. We carry and drive everything else. Label the boxes for the children's rooms clearly, and they will end up in the right room at the new home without any detours.
