Carrying is rarely the problem. The time goes on all the little things around it: organising boxes, dismantling furniture, securing a parking space for the removal van, handing over the old apartment clean – and on top of that, informing the municipality, the post office, insurers and subscriptions of your new address.
With Swiss Umzüge you get one contact person and one quote. We plan moving day with you, bring protective material and, on request, take care of end-of-tenancy cleaning, disposal and interim storage. For the paperwork there is our customer portal.

Every private move comes with paperwork. The customer portal knows your moving date and your new municipality and uses them to create your personal checklist with deadlines – including ready-made letters.

Transparent cost & time calculation
Billing is based on actual working time, including travel to and from the site. Minimum duration: 3 hours, then billed in quarter-hour increments. Two 15-minute breaks a day count as working time. We work in accordance with ASTAG guidelines.

I was very satisfied with the moving services and the cleaning work. The furniture was properly packed and handled with care. The subsequent cleaning was also carried out professionally, so the handover went through without any issues. What's more, all the staff were extremely friendly. I can only recommend the company.

How much does a private move cost?
With us, a private move costs from CHF 550.– for 1–1.5 rooms and from CHF 990.– for 3–3.5 rooms, insurance included, excluding VAT. Billing is based on actual working time in 15-minute increments, with a minimum of 3 hours. You can calculate a guide price for your apartment in 2 minutes with the moving cost calculator.
Does someone need to come to my home for the quote?
No. You can book the free survey on site or by WhatsApp video. The survey takes around 20–25 minutes, and you will receive your quote within 24 hours.
Does a move on a Saturday cost more?
No. The same price applies from Monday to Saturday – no Saturday surcharge.
Do I get moving boxes?
Yes. We lend you our sturdy, reusable moving boxes free of charge.
What happens if there are days between moving out and moving in?
