When the stairwell is too narrow
When a furniture lift is worthwhile
In older buildings without a lift, with narrow spiral staircases or on upper floors, every large piece of furniture becomes a challenge. Going over the façade is often quicker and safer – for the furniture and for the stairwell.
Whether a furniture lift is possible depends on access, the set-up area and the windows or balcony. We check this during the survey and, on request, also arrange the permit for the set-up area with the municipality.
- From CHF 300.–: depending on floor, access and duration of use.
- Protects the stairwell: no scratches on walls and banisters.
- Faster: large items in minutes instead of hours.
- Can be combined with the move: one team, one date.

I was very satisfied with the moving services and the cleaning work. The furniture was properly packed and handled with care. The subsequent cleaning was also carried out professionally, so the handover went through without any issues. What's more, all the staff were extremely friendly. I can only recommend the company.

How much does a furniture lift cost?
A furniture lift job costs from CHF 300.–, excluding VAT. The exact amount depends on the floor, accessibility and duration of use.
Up to which floor can a furniture lift go?
That depends on the equipment, access and set-up area. We assess the situation during the survey.
Is a permit required?
If public land is used, a permit from the municipality may be required. We clarify this during planning.
Can the furniture lift also transport a piano?
Whether a piano can go via the lift depends on its weight and the equipment. For narrow stairwells, the furniture lift is often the better solution.
Can I book the furniture lift without a move?
Yes, for example for a new sofa that won’t fit through the stairwell.
