Furniture lift – large furniture over the façade instead of through a narrow stairwell

Our own carpenters take care of that: anything too wide for the window or balcony door is taken apart in your old flat and reassembled at the new address. Screws and fittings travel with it in labelled bags, so every part finds its place straight away during reassembly.

We wrap delicate pieces in protective material before loading, and glass surfaces and corners get extra padding. On the platform they are strapped down so that they neither slide nor knock against window frames or balcony railings as they are raised along the façade.

In our furniture storage facility, which is dry, climate-controlled and alarm-protected, from CHF 15.– per m³ per month. On moving-out day the furniture comes out of the old flat by lift and is delivered again on your moving-in date, via the façade once more if needed.

By the evening before moving day at the latest: balcony furniture, plants, curtains and anything on the windowsill should be out of the way so our team can set up the lift directly. In the new flat, too, it helps if the area behind the window or balcony door is kept clear.

We take it away straight away and dispose of it properly for CHF 65.– per m³. The discarded sofa or old wardrobe can go down on the same lift and does not have to be carried separately through the narrow stairwell later.

Because not everything goes over the façade: we often still carry boxes and smaller furniture through the building. That is why we lay floor protection and protect the lift and stairwell, so the routes inside the flat from the window to each room stay clean as well.

A final cleaning with handover guarantee: we clean the emptied flat, and our team is on site when it is handed over to the property management. If they raise any complaints, we put them right immediately and free of charge, so the handover is completed with no outstanding points.
