Where applicable in individual cases \u2013 for example, when we offer services to persons in the EU\/EEA \u2013 we also comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Website operation and server log files<\/h2>\n<p>When you visit our website, technical access data is automatically recorded in server log files. This is necessary to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security, and detect misuse. The log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest, unless they are needed to investigate an incident.<\/p>\n<p>Our website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, on servers in Switzerland; the domain and DNS are also managed there. The website is based on WordPress; to optimise performance we use a caching plugin that does not transmit any personal data to third parties. The connection is encrypted via TLS\/HTTPS.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"ds-9\">9. Cookies and local storage<\/h2>\n<p>Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser. Your selection is saved in a necessary cookie in your browser; no profiling takes place. Non-essential services are only loaded after you have given your consent. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the \u00abCookie settings\u00bb link in the footer.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"ds-11\">11. Web analytics<\/h2>\n<p>With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, integrated via Google Tag Manager, provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (parent company Google LLC, USA). Google Analytics records how visitors use our website (e.g. pages viewed, time spent, source, device). IP addresses are not stored in GA4. We use Google Consent Mode v2: without consent, no analytics cookies are set.<\/p>\n<p>Google Tag Manager itself does not set any cookies; it only controls the loading of other services. Online advertising and conversion tracking<\/h2>\n<h3>12.1 Google Ads<\/h3>\n<p>We place advertisements via Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited). With your consent, we measure whether an ad has led to an enquiry (conversion tracking) and can show ads again to people who have visited our website (remarketing). We only receive statistical evaluations, no information that directly identifies you.<\/p>\n<h3>12.2 Meta Pixel<\/h3>\n<p>With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland (parent company Meta Platforms Inc., USA). It is used to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to build audiences. If you are logged in to Meta, Meta can assign the visit to your account. Meta is partly jointly responsible with us for this. When it loads, your IP address and technical data are transmitted to Google.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google reviews<\/strong>: Using the plugins Trustindex and \u00abRich Showcase for Google Reviews\u00bb, we display public Google reviews from our customers. The reviews are retrieved from Google and cached on our server; no data about you is transmitted to Google, except when profile pictures of the reviewers are loaded.<\/li>\n<li><strong>follow.it<\/strong>: A follow.it icon is embedded for a subscription function; when it loads, your IP address is transmitted to follow.it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fonts<\/strong>: Where fonts are not hosted locally on our server, they are loaded from Google Fonts, in which case your IP address is transmitted to Google.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We do not use any social media plugins that send data to social networks as soon as a page is accessed.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"ds-14\">14. Contact, quote requests and forms<\/h2>\n<p>If you contact us via a form (e.g. \u00abRequest a move\u00bb), by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote for you. Mandatory fields are marked. The forms are operated with Contact Form 7; the data is sent to us by email. We use technical filters to protect against spam.<\/p>\n<p>We delete enquiries that do not result in an order after 12 months at the latest. Please note that unencrypted emails can be viewed by third parties in transit. When using WhatsApp, Meta's privacy policy also applies.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"ds-15\">15. Contract processing, payment and invoicing<\/h2>\n<h3>15.1 Invoice and bank transfer<\/h3>\n<p>For payment by invoice (QR-bill), we process your name, billing address, amount and receipt of payment. Payment is processed via our bank in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<h3>15.2 Cash payment<\/h3>\n<p>For cash payment on site, you will receive a receipt; we record the amount, date and order in our accounts.<\/p>\n<h3>15.3 TWINT<\/h3>\n<p>For payments with TWINT, the payment data is processed by TWINT AG, Zurich (Switzerland), and your bank. We only receive confirmation of the payment.<\/p>\n<h3>15.4 Card payment<\/h3>\n<p>We process card payments via an external payment service provider. Your card details are processed directly by the payment service provider; we do not store complete card numbers. This may involve disclosure to the EU\/USA.<\/p>\n<h3>15.5 Credit check<\/h3>\n<p>We do not carry out automated credit checks. Provision of our services<\/h2>\n<h3>16.1 Job scheduling<\/h3>\n<p>To carry out an order, our team leaders and staff receive the necessary information (name, phone number, addresses, date, scope).<\/p>\n<h3>16.2 Partner companies<\/h3>\n<p>If we use partner companies for individual services (e.g. furniture lift, disposal, cleaning), we only pass on the data required for their service and bind them to confidentiality.<\/p>\n<h3>16.3 Documentation and confidentiality<\/h3>\n<p>To secure evidence, we prepare handover reports and photos of the items being moved or of the premises where necessary. All staff are bound to confidentiality regarding customer data and impressions from your premises \u2013 even after their employment ends.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"ds-17\">17. Disclosure abroad<\/h2>\n<p>Our website and our data are, as a rule, located in Switzerland. When using the services listed in section 17 (in particular Google and Meta), personal data may be disclosed to EU\/EEA countries and to the USA. Disclosure to countries with adequate data protection pursuant to Annex 1 DPO (including the EU\/EEA) takes place without further safeguards. For recipients in the USA, we rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (recognised since 15 September 2024) where they are certified, and otherwise on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses recognised by the FDPIC. Access to data by foreign authorities cannot be completely ruled out.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"ds-19\">19.
